Your Problem Isn’t Networking. It’s Avoidance.

You don’t struggle with relationships because you don’t know what to do. You struggle because the real work is uncomfortable.

Following up when you might be ignored. Asking clearly for what you want. Being consistent when there’s no immediate payoff.

Call it what it is

That’s not a tactics problem. That’s avoidance.

Three patterns to kill

1) “I don’t want to bother them.” Translation: I’m afraid of being judged.

2) “I’m putting myself out there.” Translation: I’m doing the easiest version of the work.

3) “I’ll reach out when I have the right message.” Translation: I’m hiding behind preparation.

10-minute challenge

Send two messages: one reach-up (a sharp question), one reach-across (a useful share). Keep it to 3 sentences. Then stop overthinking.
